Scholarship


Mercedes-Benz, India offers scholarship to one girl / lady candidate and two economically backward candidates who secure admission to the course.


Structure of Scholarship:

 

The Scholarship amount per student will be Rs. 1, 50,000. This amount is towards:

  1. ADAM Course Fees

  2. Hostel Accommodation Charges (Annual)

  3. Other Expenses (e.g. Uniform, Books etc.)

 

Number of scholarships:

  1. Scholarship for low economic background : Under this scheme, 2 eligible students (male/female student) based on their family income and merit shall be entitled for the scholarship.

  2. Scholarship for female student : Under this scheme, 1 female student based on merit & irrespective of her family income shall be entitled for the scholarship.

 

Further Conditions:

  1. In case, no female student is admitted to the course, the scholarship for female student can be availed by an eligible male student of this course.

  2. If more than one female student is admitted to the course and the quota for scholarship in low economic background remains unutilized then the same can be availed by the female student.

  3. If eligible students are not admitted in the course then MB India reserves the rights to either withdraw this scholarship or change the criteria.

 

Eligibility of candidates for availing scholarship:

  1. The family income of the student should not exceed Rs.2, 00,000 (Two Lakh Rupees) per annum. Incase more students fulfill this criteria, then the candidate with lowest family income shall be considered for this scholarship.

  2. If there is a tie between students based on the first criteria then the student with the highest score in ADAM entrance exam shall be eligible for availing the Scholarship.

 

Other requirements:

  1. Family Income Proof

    1. Income certificate issued by the revenue authorities (Tehsildar);

    2. Ration Card

    3. An asset statement (Ownership as to land, property, and farm animals, poultry, house, type of house, details of vehicles, details of earning members of the family etc.)

  2. Original certificates of previous qualification and leaving certificate

  3. The Student must have/open a bank account to enable the company to credit the amount towards other expenses as mentioned in the above table.
